Debbie opened a new gallery in Joplin this year, Mosaics Art Gallery, at 20th and Indiana.  “I feel so blessed to be able to spend this portion of my life dedicated to creating art”.  A love of painting has always dominated her life, and in her work  Debbie strives to incorporate environmental concerns with a sense of spirituality.  Watercolors and oils are favorite mediums, but Debbie also enjoys mixed media projects.  Watercolor collages with unusual texture and creative themes are also hallmarks of Debbie’s work.

Numerous awards and several Best of Show presentations have been conferred upon her work in the mid-west area and nationally. Debbie has shown nationally, including juried competitives like Watercolor USA and the National Watercolor Society shows.  Debbie is a signature member of the Missouri Watercolor Society; is active at Spiva Art Center, Joplin, Mo, The Kansas City Artists Coalition, and artCentral, Carthage, Mo.
