Since 1985, Steve has owned and operated his own Advertising Agency, his specialty being videography and graphic design. In early 2012 he and his wife, Cindy, began their art careers together. Steve has since made his way into local, regional and national recognition.

 

Steve was awarded “Artist of The Year” by the Downtown Joplin Alliance in the Fall of 2012 in his first season of showing his works. Since then he has earned other awards, including “Excellence in Mixed Media” at the 19th Annual Thomas Hart Benton Four State Regional Art Competition and Exhibit! He has exhibited in several venues around the region, including Pittsburg, Kansas and Branson, Missouri. He will be having a solo-exhibit (with over 24 pieces) in May, 2015 at Art Inspired in Springfield, Mo.

 

His art has been featured in many area newspapers, magazines and on television. Steve had an article published and his work featured in the September issue of Mixed Media Magazine, a digital magazine with worldwide circulation. In 2014 was also a Selected Artist for 2014 SEK Art Fest (Street Art)  in Pittsburg, KS.  One of Steve’s photos was recently selected for the 2015 PhotoSpiva Exhibition.
